Are you a person of self control? because after you try these banana muffins you will no longer know what self control is anymore.

My husband and daughter love when I make them, not only because they are delicious but because they are a great grab and go snack and did I mention they make the house smell so good. Now if you are like me and like to make anything with banana then you probably over purchase bananas like I do just so you have enough to bake with.

Now let’s get to the recipe, I will start off and say this recipe makes 1 dozen so double or even triple if you plan on giving a friend, neighbor or even family a little tasty treat.

Wet ingredients

3 medium ripe bananas

1 large egg

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Extra’s

cupcake pan

spray oil

wallnuts

preheat oven to 375

cook for 18- 20 minutes.

1/3 cup to fill mixture into pan (perfect amount)

Dry ingredients

1-1/2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Step one – get everything you need out . you will need two bowls , one for the main mixing and one to sift all of the dry items together. I use a kitchen aid mixer so I use the bowl that comes with that to mash the bananas and everything will end up being mixed in that bowl, so use what bowls you please. and remember clean up as you go!

step two – measure all dry ingredients and start sifting into bowl once sifted put all dry ingredients away.

Step three – start with the wet items. peel bananas and add to bowl, start mashing until there are fully mashed up ( if you have kiddos or grand kids to do this with they love mashing the nana’s ) one less step you have top do. next add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well until combined.

Step four – start adding the dry mixture to the wet mixture, I always add just half first so it doesn’t make a huge mess with the flour. mix until all combined, while you are mixing you can preheat the oven to 375.

Step five – get the muffin / cupcake pan and grease it well , I just use the oil spray and it works fine . Use the 1/3 measuring cup to fill each section and add your topping of choice or no toppings at all , again your choice. next you will put them in the oven for 18-20 min and transfer to a cooling rack and enjoy the best banana bread muffins !

the best thing about this recipe is that you probably have everything you need in the coboard so it makes it ten times easier.

White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Its Finally time to share my delicious cookie recipe, I can no longer keep them to myself.

This is the easiest white chocolate chip cookie to make and you will not regret it one bit, I mean unless you decide to eat the all before they cool down. the cookies are so chewy with the best crunch on the bottom and truthfully you can make these in so many different ways when it comes to the chocolate chips or even adding fun sprinkles to the batter before cooking. make this recipe fun.

What you will need

Wet ingredients :

2 sticks of butter softened but still cool

1 tbs of vanilla

1 large egg

Dry ingredients:

2 1/4 cup flour

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar ( this is what makes the cookie )

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Add ins

1 – 1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

I recommend using a stand mixer or even a hand mixer for this recipe.

pre-heat oven to 365 before you start throwing everything together

So start by throwing in the butter and mix until creamy then add vanilla and the egg and mix together well but don’t over mix!

Now with the dry ingredients I like sifting together everything but the flower in a large measuring cup then adding it to the butter mixture.the brown sugar can just be thrown in due to it being a thicker sugar. now mix together on low and start adding the flour and turn the mixer up until it doesn’t stick to the bowl too much then go ahead and add the chips and mix some more, it is not a harder dough so it will be sticky.

I use a regular size spoon to scoop and ball up in my hand . you should be able to fit 8 cookies on a non stick cookie sheet I made three batches so it will last you awhile . defiantly use parchment paper if you don’t have a non stick cooking sheet.

you want to cook them for 6-8 min and leave on cookie sheet for 1min when you take them out before you place them on a cooling rack, when you go to take them off they will still be very soft so use a spatula!

pre-heat oven to 365 and cook for 6-8min set for 1min

other options for fillings, fun sprinkles , vanilla chips or even leaving everything out and making it a plain sugar cookie..
